What's left behind the scenes
- The series is based on real events surrounding the Unabomber, the FBI task force, and the consultants assembled to capture him and prove his guilt.
- Contrary to what is shown in the series, Fitzgerald never met or spoke with Kaczynski. They only came face-to-face for the first time in court, where Kaczynski was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
