Short description
Spaced: the anti-Friends, in that it examines the lives of common 20 somethings, but in a way that is more down to earth and realistic. Here we have Daisy and Tim; two 'young' adults with big dreams just trying to get by in this crazy world. They are thrown together in a common pursuit of tenancy, which they find by posing as a couple. The house has a landlady and an oddball artist living there. The series explores the ins and outs of London living.

What's left behind the scenes
- The series director played a 'cameo role' in the very first episode: when the main character leaves the student squat, Edgar Wright is lying in a chair.
- Almost an entire episode, 'Mettle,' parodies the film 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.'
- The role of Mike—a gun-obsessed, warmongering fat guy—was created by Nick Frost himself. This was his first TV role. Simon Pegg mentioned that the future British comedy actor had worked in a restaurant before this.
- Half of the residents of the district where the series was filmed appeared as extras.
