What's left behind the scenes
- An adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name by Charles C. Forsman, who is often called the 'left-handed Frank Miller'.
- Unlike many series that use filters to indicate a flashback, flashbacks here are shown with a 4:3 aspect ratio—the television standard prior to the 2000s.
- Of the actors who appeared in the 2014 television film 'The End of the F***ing World,' only Jessica Barden reprises her role in the series.
