What's left behind the scenes
- The facial makeup alone weighed around 4.5 kg. Additionally, Russell Crowe, who played the role of Roger Isles, wore a bodysuit and hairpieces. Therefore, the issue of the actor's comfort was particularly relevant. To make it easier for Crowe to wear the heavy prosthetics, Canadian makeup and special effects artist Adrien Morot did not glue them entirely to the skin; instead, he attached them to the chin in a way that left the throat free. This prevented constriction and allowed the skin under the lower jaw to move freely without affecting the vocal cords.
