What's left behind the scenes
- The original title of the series translates as "How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)."
- While searching for a name for the drug dealer, the screenwriters looked at Albanian names and chose the name of an Albanian rapper nicknamed Buba. They only discovered that Buba is a female name after filming had already begun.
- Initially, Maximilian Mandt auditioned for the role of Lenny Sander. After his screen test, as he was returning to the station, he was asked to come back and audition for the role of Moritz, which he eventually landed.
- The plot of the series is based on real events that took place in Leipzig in 2015. The main protagonist of those events was sentenced to five years in prison.
- The series is set in Germany, in the fictional town of Rinseln.
- When Lenny and Kira make pretend purchases for Bonus Life, characters from the series 'Breaking Bad' (Walter White, Marie Schrader, Gus Fring) can be seen among the account owners.
