Matheran, a small hill station located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, is all set to host auditions for social media heroes. The auditions are being organized by the Matheran Municipal Corporation in collaboration with a leading digital media company.

The auditions are open to all citizens of Matheran, regardless of their age or gender. The aim of the auditions is to identify and promote the social media heroes of Matheran who can use their digital presence to bring about positive change in the society. The selected heroes will be given an opportunity to work with the Matheran Municipal Corporation to create awareness about various social issues and to promote initiatives taken by the Corporation to improve the quality of life in Matheran.

The auditions will be conducted in two phases. The first phase will involve a written test to assess the knowledge of the candidates about social media and its impact on society. The second phase will involve an interview with the panel of judges to assess the candidates’ communication skills, leadership qualities, and their ability to think out of the box.

The selected social media heroes will be given a stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month for a period of one year. They will also be provided with a laptop and a smartphone to help them in their work. The heroes will be expected to create content on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc. to create awareness about the initiatives taken by the Matheran Municipal Corporation.

The auditions are a great opportunity for the citizens of Matheran to use their digital presence to bring about positive change in the society. The auditions will be held on the 15th of June at the Matheran Municipal Corporation office. All interested candidates are requested to apply before the 10th of June.
