Louis is a kind man who is largely ignored by his peers at the law firm where he works. His life changes when a doctor mistakenly tells him that he has a serious illness. Suddenly, his colleagues begin to show him genuine concern and attention, giving him a sense of visibility he never had before. As professional and personal opportunities arise, Louis struggles with the decision of whether to reveal the medical error or continue the lie to maintain his newfound status.
