A middle-aged chicken farmer from rural Taiwan feels isolated from her family, particularly when her unmarried status creates tension surrounding her brother's upcoming wedding. Seeking connection, she uses a dating app to start a romantic relationship with a Frenchman. When the man suddenly stops communicating, she travels to Paris to find him. Despite warnings from those around her that she is the victim of a romance scam, she navigates an unfamiliar country to prove her feelings are real and to find personal growth.

This comedy-drama was directed by Lien Chien-Hung, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Essay Liu.
