Short description
A waitress, desperate to fulfill her dreams as a restaurant owner, is set on a journey to turn a frog prince back into a human being, but she has to face the same problem after she kisses him.

What's left behind the scenes

  • Princess Tiana was made left-handed at the request of Anika Noni Rose, who voiced her.
  • The alligator from "The Princess and the Frog" previously appeared in one of the episodes of the "Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers" series (1989-1992).
  • Towards the end of the cartoon, during the carnival, you can spot a moving platform depicting Neptune, the sea king and father of Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" (1989) (whose creators also worked on "The Princess and the Frog").
  • At the beginning of the cartoon, when the city is shown from above, you can notice a rug being shaken from a balcony, identical to the magic carpet from the cartoon "Aladdin" by the same animators.
