High Tension

Marie and Alexia are close friends who plan to spend a quiet weekend studying at Alexia's parents' isolated farmhouse in the countryside. Their trip is interrupted when a stranger arrives at the house at night and attacks the family. Marie manages to stay hidden, and when he takes Alexia away, she follows in an attempt to rescue her friend.

High Tension is a French horror film directed by Alexandre Aja, who wrote the screenplay with Grégory Levasseur. Cécile de France plays Marie and Maïwenn plays Alexia, with Philippe Nahon as the killer and Andrei Finti, Oana Pellea and Marco Claudiu Pascu among the supporting cast.
