Born to Fight

A Thai police officer named Deaw loses his superior during an operation against General Yang, a major arms dealer. The general is captured, but Deaw, shaken by the death of his colleague, leaves the force. His sister, a taekwondo champion, persuades him to join her and a group of athletes travelling to a remote village in northern Thailand to hand out supplies. The group includes a football coach, a rugby player and several gymnasts. Their stay is cut short when men loyal to Yang seize the village, take the residents hostage and set up a missile aimed at Bangkok, demanding the general's release. Deaw and the athletes are left to fight back.

Born to Fight is a 2004 Thai action film directed by Panna Rittikrai, who went on to direct Ong Bak 2 and Ong Bak 3. Dan Chupong plays Deaw, with Noppol Gomarachun as General Yang and Santisuk Promsiri as Lorfei.
