Set in Northern California during the mid-1990s, this comedy-drama follows Ilyas, a thirteen-year-old Pakistani-American boy. After his parents move him from a private Islamic school to a public one, Ilyas struggles to adapt to his new environment. His anxiety is heightened by insecurities regarding his early facial hair. To resolve his crisis, he creates a plan to return to his previous school while attempting to find self-acceptance.

The film was written and directed by Imran J. Khan, marking the first of two directed works listed in his career, followed by The Boy with the Dinosaur Head in 2026. The cast features Atharva Verma in the lead role as Ilyas, alongside Rizwan Manji, Meesha Shafi, Ayana Manji, Alicia Silverstone, and Hasan Minhaj.
