You Are My Sunshine

Seok-joong is an older bachelor with no previous dating experience who falls in love with Eun-ha, a sex worker. While Eun-ha is initially indifferent, she eventually reciprocates his feelings due to his persistent devotion. The two marry, but their relationship faces a crisis when Eun-ha discovers she is HIV positive and chooses to leave her husband.

This 2005 South Korean romantic drama was written and directed by Park Jin-pyo. It marks the first film in a career that later included Love Forecast in 2015 and Brave Citizen in 2023.
