Escape from Germany

Set in 1939, this historical drama follows eighty-five American missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in Germany. As Hitler's army closes the borders and military preparations intensify, the missionaries must urgently flee the country to reach safety in neighboring nations. Based on personal diaries, the story depicts their difficult escape during the beginning of World War II.

The film was written and directed by T.C. Christensen, who previously directed The Cokeville Miracle in 2015 and later directed Raising the Bar: The Alma Richards Story in 2025. Produced by Eric S. Johnston through Remember Films, the movie features a cast including Paul Wuthrich, Sebastian Michael Barr, David McConnell, Landon Henneman, Brad Witbeck, and Scarlett Hazen.
