Milo, a middle-aged Serbian immigrant, has built a quiet life in Copenhagen as a drug dealer. He attends meetings for addicts trying to stay clean, keeps up a respectable front, and is preparing a birthday banquet for his daughter Milena, who is turning twenty-five. The day already looks demanding when a shipment he expected to be heroin arrives instead as thousands of ecstasy pills, an unfamiliar product for him. He decides to move the pills anyway, a choice that quickly draws him into conflict with younger dealers trying to take over his position in the city's drug trade. As the celebration and his business obligations collide, Milo turns to his old friend and former associate Radovan for help.

The film is the third entry in Nicolas Winding Refn's Pusher trilogy, following Pusher (1996) and Pusher II (2004), and returns to the character of Milo, played by Zlatko Burić. Refn wrote the screenplay, Henrik Danstrup produced, and the cast includes Marinela Dekic as Milena, Slavko Labović as Radovan, Ramadan Huseini, Kurt Nielsen and Ilyas Agac, among 27 credited cast members and 72 credited crew. Made in Denmark, it runs 108 minutes.

Audiences rate the film positively: 7.3/10 on IMDb from about 21,000 votes and 7.2/10 on TMDB from roughly 453 votes. A critics' rating of 7.9/10 from 15 reviews places it somewhat higher than those audience scores, suggesting a generally favorable critical response.
