A Turtle's Tale 2: Sammy's Escape from Paradise

Two sea turtles, Sammy and Ray, are captured by a poacher and taken to an aquarium in Dubai to perform in a tourist show. While in captivity, they meet other marine animals and a group of penguins, with whom they coordinate a plan to escape. Meanwhile, their young relatives, Ricky and Ella, attempt their own rescue mission to bring them home. After fleeing the facility, the group travels south so Sammy can reunite with his long-time love, Shelly.

The film was co-directed by Ben Stassen and Vincent Kesteloot. For Stassen, this project followed his work on A Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventures, while it marked the first directorial credit for Kesteloot. The voice cast features Alan Shearman as Sammy, Khary Payton as Ray, and Kaitlyn Maher and Carter Hastings as Ella and Ricky. The production involved companies from Belgium, the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, and France, including Warner Bros. Pictures and StudioCanal.

The movie received a moderate response from audiences, holding a 5.6 rating on IMDb from 2,800 votes and a 5.8 rating on TMDB based on 222 votes.
