This drama follows the true story of Cheah Liek Hou, a talented badminton player who faces a significant challenge when he develops brachial plexus paralysis. Rather than giving up on the sport, he transitions to competing as a disabled athlete. Under the guidance of coach Rashid Sidek, he works to overcome various obstacles to compete in the Paralympic Games, where he eventually wins a gold medal for Malaysia.
The film was directed by Adrian Teh, who also served as a producer and co-writer alongside Tan Pik Yee. In the timeline of Teh's work, this movie follows Paskal, Wira, Malbatt: Misi Bakara, and Reversi, and precedes Magik Rompak and Chelot. The production was a collaboration between companies from Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The lead role of Cheah Liek Hou was played by Jack Tan, while Farid Kamil portrayed Rashid Sidek. The supporting cast includes Freddie Ng and Lynn Lim as the protagonist's parents, as well as Fabian Loo and Daniel Chezi. Released on July 11, 2024, the film has a total runtime of 126 minutes.
