Based on actual events from 1974, this historical drama follows Rose Dugdale, a wealthy British heiress who rejects her privileged upbringing to join the IRA. After radicalizing politically, she and three associates conduct an armed raid on Russborough House in Wicklow, stealing nineteen artworks to fund the organization's struggle. The story focuses on the days following the theft, while Rose remains in hiding at a remote cottage and faces the results of her actions.

The film was directed by Joe Lawlor and Christine Molloy, who also co-wrote the screenplay. This project is the ninth collaboration in their shared directing history, following works such as Moore Street and The Future Tense. The cast is led by Imogen Poots as Rose Dugdale, supported by Jack Meade, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Lewis Brophy, Dermot Crowley, and John Kavanagh.
