Trinity and Bambino are brothers whose father, on his deathbed, makes them promise to become outlaws while always looking out for each other. They set out across the American West, but their good hearts keep getting in the way of a life of crime: a stagecoach robbery yields nothing, and they end up helping ordinary people instead. Mistaken for federal agents, they play along in the hope of a big score, only to find themselves defending a monastery and its residents from an arms dealer and a band of Mexican revolutionaries. The plot also involves a considerable sum of money that the brothers discover they might claim.
The film is a Italian western comedy directed and written by Enzo Barboni, released in October 1971 and running 118 minutes. It is the second film he directed, following They Call Me Trinity the previous year, and it continues the pairing of Terence Hill as Trinità and Bud Spencer as Bambino, with Harry Carey, Jr. as their father and Yanti Somer, Jessica Dublin and Enzo Tarascio among the credited cast of twenty-three. Italo Zingarelli produced for West Film, and the film took in about 2 million dollars worldwide.
On TMDB it holds a 7.4 rating from roughly a thousand votes, indicating a solidly favourable response from viewers of this long-running comedy western series.
