They Call Me Trinity
Short description
A drifter named Trinità, known for his speed and accuracy with a gun, rides into a small town and runs into his estranged half-brother Bambino, who has taken over as sheriff after breaking the real one's leg. Bambino is a thief and wanted man who wants to lie low, but the two brothers, despite their own interest in committing robberies, end up helping a quiet colony of farmers terrorized by a greedy land baron.
The film is an Italian western comedy directed and written by Enzo Barboni, who made his directorial debut with it and returned to the characters the following year. Terence Hill plays Trinità and Bud Spencer plays Bambino, with Steffen Zacharias, Dan Sturkie, Gisela Hahn and Elena Pedemonte in supporting roles. Barboni went on to direct several more comedies through the 1970s and 1980s.
Released in December 1970, it has a 7.6 rating on TMDB from about 1,500 votes and a 5.1 critics' rating, while IMDb shows 7 out of 10 from 10 votes.
