This historical drama follows Enric Marco, a Spanish trade unionist who gains prominence as a spokesperson for an association of Holocaust victims. For many years, Marco maintains a complex narrative told to his family, the media, and his colleagues, claiming that he survived Nazi concentration camps. The story focuses on the conflict surrounding these assertions as they are revealed to be a fabrication.
The film was co-directed by Jon Garaño and Aitor Arregi, who previously collaborated on Giant in 2017 and The Endless Trench in 2019. For Garaño, this project follows those two films and his earlier work Flowers. For Arregi, this movie precedes his 2025 project Maspalomas. The screenplay was written by Garaño, Arregi, and Jose Mari Goenaga. Eduard Fernández stars as Enric Marco, appearing alongside a cast that includes Nathalie Poza, Sonia Almarcha, Daniela Brown, Chani Martín, and Júlia Molins, with 35 credited performers in total.
Produced in Spain by companies including Atresmedia and Movistar+, the movie has a runtime of 101 minutes. Since its release in November 2024, it has received a rating of 6.9 on TMDB based on 54 votes.
