Short description
When bookish CIA researcher Joe Turner finds all his co-workers dead, he, together with a woman he has kidnapped, must work together to outwit those responsible until he determines who he can really trust.

- Former CIA Director Richard Helms (1913–2002) served as a consultant for Robert Redford.
- The only feature film that was shot in the World Trade Center.
- A film adaptation of the novel "Six Days of the Condor" by American writer James Grady.
- The film takes place in winter, but it was shot in autumn. Before filming began, the leaves had to be stripped from the trees on the streets. Robert Redford personally supervised this process to ensure that no harm was done to the plants.
