Dalia travels to Piedmont to care for her elderly grandfather, Igor, a skilled forager. To prevent the loss of his home, she uses his field notes and the help of a dog named Birba to search for a valuable truffle. The story focuses on their bond and the challenges of maintaining a rural lifestyle.
