The Worst Man in London

Set in late 19th-century London, this historical drama follows Charles Augustus Howell, a cunning art dealer and agent who uses wit and blackmail to navigate high society. Operating within influential artistic circles, Howell works as an assistant to art critic John Ruskin and establishes a close friendship with poet and painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti.

The film was directed by Rodrigo Areias, appearing after his 2018 work Blue Breath and before A Pedra Sonha Dar Flor and Nova '78. The screenplay was written by Eduardo Brito and produced by Paulo Branco.
