Kingdom: Return of the Great General

This historical action film continues the conflict between the states of Qin and Zhao. Following the events of the Battle of Mayang, Shin and his unit face the opposing commander, Pan Nuan, a formidable warrior known as the god of war. After suffering heavy losses and a near-fatal encounter, Shin must recover and prepare his remaining soldiers for further combat. Meanwhile, General Ohki is called upon to lead the defense against the Zhao invasion, while the ruler Ying Zheng learns of additional enemy forces gathering in the north.

Directed by Shinsuke Sato, this entry follows Kingdom III: The Flame of Destiny and precedes Kingdom 5: The Clash of Souls in the director's filmography.
