The Tale of Tsar Saltan

Tsar Saltan marries a woman from a humble background and brings her sisters to the palace as servants. While the tsar is away on a military campaign, the queen gives birth to a son. Driven by jealousy, the sisters orchestrate a plot by sending a fraudulent message to the tsar regarding the child. They further manipulate the situation by altering the tsar's response, leading to the queen and her infant son being sealed in a barrel and cast into the ocean.

This fantasy drama was directed by Sarik Andreasyan, following his work on several films including War and Music. He also served as a producer on the project alongside Gevond Andreasyan and Maksim Filatov, with a screenplay written by Aleksey Gravitskiy.
