Pride and Glory

Pride and Glory follows the Tierneys, a New York family in which three generations have served in the police force. Ray Tierney, assigned to investigate the killing of four officers during a drug operation, finds that the case reaches into his own household, implicating his brother Francis Jr., who led the operation, and his brother-in-law Jimmy Eagan. As the inquiry widens, Ray must weigh his family's loyalty against the law he has sworn to uphold. Gavin O'Connor directed from a screenplay he wrote with Joe Carnahan.

The film stars Edward Norton as Ray, Jon Voight as the family patriarch Francis Tierney Sr., Colin Farrell as Jimmy Eagan, and Noah Emmerich as Francis Jr., with Jennifer Ehle and John Ortiz among the credited cast. It was O'Connor's second feature as director, following Miracle in 2004 and preceding Warrior in 2011. Made for about 30 million dollars, it returned roughly 31 million worldwide.
