A Tapestry of a Legendary Land

A modern artifact researcher is transported nine hundred years into the past while organizing an exhibition for the painting A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains. He arrives during the Northern Song dynasty and enters the perspective of a young painter named Xi Meng. The story follows Xi Meng and a group of committed workers as they face various obstacles to produce a lasting work of art.

This Chinese historical drama was directed by Zhou Liya and Han Zhen, marking the first film in the chronological list of works for both directors. The screenplay was written by Xu Junrui and produced by Huixia Zhang. The cast features Qingyang Meng as Qing Lu and Zhang Han as Xi Meng, alongside Xie Suhao, who plays the Scroll Unroller. Other roles include the Ink Grinder played by 刘洋, the Brush Maker played by 王晶, and the Ink Maker played by 戴可伟. The film has a runtime of 89 minutes.
