Sarah is a pregnant woman struggling with grief after a car accident that killed her partner. On Christmas Eve, while spending the night alone before her scheduled delivery the following day, her solitude is interrupted by a sinister stranger. This visitor arrives at her home and uses violence and persistence to get what she wants, turning the night into a struggle for survival.

This French horror film was directed by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, who also wrote the screenplay. It is the first in a chronological series of six films directed by the duo, followed by Livid, Leatherface, The Deep House, Kandisha, and The Soul Eater.
