Zombieland

Zombieland is set in a United States overrun by the undead, where a small group of survivors makes its way across a devastated landscape. Columbus, a nervous young man, has stayed alive by following a strict set of self-imposed rules. He falls in with Tallahassee, a hardened and enthusiastic zombie killer whose main personal mission is to track down one last snack cake. The two men are soon joined by two sisters, Wichita and Little Rock, who survive through their own ingenuity. Their journey turns on a harder problem than the zombies: whether four strangers who have learned to trust nobody can rely on one another.

The film was directed by Ruben Fleischer, the first feature he directed in a run that continued with 30 Minutes or Less, Gangster Squad, Venom, Zombieland: Double Tap, Uncharted and Now You See Me: Now You Don't. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the screenplay, and Gavin Polone produced. Jesse Eisenberg plays Columbus, Woody Harrelson plays Tallahassee, Emma Stone plays Wichita and Abigail Breslin plays Little Rock, with Amber Heard and Bill Murray also appearing. Made for about 24 million dollars, it took in roughly 102 million worldwide. On IMDb it holds 7.5/10 from 665,000 votes and on TMDB 7.3/10 from 13,493 votes, while a critics' rating stands at 7.4/10 from 256 reviews.
