Florida, Man

A filmmaker from Mississippi meets a woman at a film festival in San Francisco, leading the two to collaborate on a horror project. They travel to the Florida swamplands to film a found footage movie centered on ghost hunting and the man's family history. As they record, the project shifts from a scripted mockumentary into a raw exploration of generational trauma and old family wounds that becomes increasingly real.

The film was directed, produced, and co-written by Evan Jordan, who also appears as himself. Sophia Anderson co-wrote the screenplay and stars alongside Jordan. The cast further includes Jeremy, Jennifer, Kurt, and Cindy Floyd, all appearing as themselves. This United States production blends elements of drama, horror, and documentary over a runtime of 108 minutes.
