Visible Scars

A man kills a woman who has just given birth to twin girls, kidnapping the infants to present them as his own children to please his wife. After several years, the kidnapper and the children perish together in a fire at a secluded forest home. Years later, a woman named Stacy flees from an abusive partner and takes refuge in her uncle's cabin located in those same woods. She soon finds herself haunted by the spirits of the twin girls. Meanwhile, a detective investigates the cold case of the missing children and the murder of their mother, leading his search toward the area where Stacy is staying.
