The Singing Priest

The Singing Priest is an Australian drama and music film that follows the life of Rob Galea. A Roman Catholic priest, Galea attempted to compete in the Australian version of The X Factor in 2015, but he was forced to leave the competition to fulfill his religious obligations. Despite this setback, he pursued a career as a contemporary Christian singer and songwriter.

The film was directed by Artin John, who also served as a producer and co-wrote the screenplay alongside Adam Louis. The cast features Matteo Bocelli in the lead role of Father Rob Galea, supported by Roberto Benigni as Dr. John, Andrea Bocelli appearing as himself, and Artin John as Padre Giovanni. Produced with a budget of 6 million USD, the movie has a runtime of 90 minutes.
