The Outback

Johnny is a white koala who faces ridicule from his peers because of his unusual color. Seeking acceptance, he joins a traveling carnival alongside a Tasmanian devil named Hamish and a monkey named Higgens. While traveling through the Australian desert, a vehicle accident leaves the group stranded in the wilderness. To maintain the heroic image created by his companions, Johnny must face various dangers, including a giant crocodile and his dingo associates who are terrorizing the local wildlife.

This 2012 animated family adventure was directed by Kyung Ho Lee. It is the second film in his career, following Shark Bait and preceding Michael Jackson's Halloween. The voice cast includes Alan Cumming, Tim Curry, Frank Welker, Nolan North, Charlie Bewley, and Jenni Pulos.
