State of Emergency

A chemical plant explosion in a small town releases a lethal toxin that mutates the local population into carnivorous zombies. To contain the threat, the military places the area under a strict quarantine, trapping survivors inside the contaminated zone. The story centers on a young man named Jim who must evade the undead creatures and navigate the ruins of the town in a struggle to survive and find a way to freedom.

Directed and written by Turner Clay, State of Emergency was the first of three films he directed, preceding The Blackwell Ghost and The Blackwell Ghost 8. The movie was produced by Clay Bros. Motion Pictures in the United States and features a cast including Jay Hayden, Andy Stahl, Tori White, Scott Lilly, Kathryn Todd Norman, and McKenna Jones.
