Tender Loving Care

Tender Loving Care is an upcoming comedy and drama about Amy, a dedicated social service worker. While she spends her professional life caring for others, she faces personal difficulties at home as her father begins to show signs of dementia. Along with her mother, Amy must adapt to this new family dynamic. Throughout these changes, Amy relies on the support and humor of her longtime friend Rosie as they both navigate the transition into middle age.

The film is written and directed by Mike Leigh, following his previous work on Hard Truths. It is a co-production between the United Kingdom, United States, and Singapore, involving production companies such as Film4 Productions and Ventureland. The cast features Kate O'Flynn in the role of Amy and Alice Bailey Johnson as Rosie, with Marion Bailey, Paul Jesson, Tilly Vosburgh, and Alan Williams in supporting roles. The production was managed by producer Georgina Lowe and involved a credited crew of 84 people. With a runtime of 107 minutes, the movie is scheduled for release on December 4, 2026.
