Kiss of the Damned

Kiss of the Damned is a 2012 American horror film written and directed by Xan Cassavetes. Djuna, a vampire who has lived quietly for around a century in rural Connecticut, translating books and watching films, meets Paolo, a screenwriter, in a video store. She tries to keep her distance from him, but eventually gives in, and their relationship leads her to bite him and bring him into immortality. Their life together is disrupted by the arrival of her sister Mimi, whose reckless, predatory behavior toward humans threatens both Djuna's romance and the wider vampire community, which has adopted rules to coexist with people.

The film stars Joséphine de la Baume as Djuna, Milo Ventimiglia as Paolo, Roxane Mesquida as Mimi, Michael Rapaport as Ben Rider, Riley Keough as Ann and Anna Mouglalis as Xenia. It runs 95 minutes and was produced by Alex Orlovsky and Jen Gatien, with 48 credited crew members. It was released in November 2012.
