Dark Floors

Dark Floors follows a father who takes his autistic daughter out of the hospital against medical advice, convinced that staying there is doing her no good. He and several others, among them a nurse, enter an elevator to leave the building, but it stalls. When the doors open again, the corridors they step into are not the hospital they left: the place is deserted and wrecked, and otherworldly creatures are stalking anyone still inside. The group's only hope appears to lie with the child, Sarah, whose condition seems tied to what is happening around them.

The film is a Finnish-Icelandic co-production directed by Pete Riski from a screenplay by Pekka Lehtosaari, produced by Markus Selin. Skye Bennett plays Sarah, with Noah Huntley as her father Ben, Dominique McElligott as the nurse Emily, and Ronald Pickup, William Hope and Leon Herbert among the other passengers. It is a horror and fantasy film running 87 minutes, made for about 4 million USD.
