Ritual

A husband and wife, Tom and Lovely, find themselves in a dangerous situation at a motel after Lovely kills a man who attempted to kidnap her. While attempting to handle the aftermath, the couple discovers a video recording of a ritual sacrifice involving a masked group. Although they try to flee the scene, they return to the room to retrieve a forgotten item, only to find that the dead body has vanished.

Directed and written by Mickey Keating, this horror film was released in 2013 and marks the first entry in a series of films by the director, followed by Darling, Offseason, Invader, and Crooks. The cast features Dean Cates and Lisa Marie Summerscales as the central couple, with supporting roles played by Larry Fessenden, Derek Phillips, Brian Lally, and Katherine Skelton.
