Mission Santa: Yoyo To The Rescue

An inexperienced elf named Yoyo starts his dream job at the North Pole only to find that the traditional workshop has been replaced by a fully automated factory. With the magic of the holidays fading and Santa missing, the situation worsens when a vengeful hacker takes control of the facility's systems. To prevent the holiday from being ruined, Yoyo assembles a team of friends to find Santa and stop the attacker.

This animated family adventure was co-directed by Damjan Mitrevski and Ricard Cussó. For Cussó, this project follows six previous films, including The Wishmas Tree and Scarygirl, and precedes The Pout-Pout Fish. The voice cast features Julius Weckauf as Yoyo, Oliver Kalkofe as Yoyo's Grandpa, Bettina Zimmermann as the hacker, and Michael Mendl as Santa.

Produced through a collaboration between companies in Germany, India, and the United States, the film earned 2 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception is mixed, as reflected by a 5.7 rating on IMDb based on 1,300 votes.
