Charukesi

Charukesi is a drama centered on a Carnatic musician living with Alzheimer's disease. The story examines the connection between family bonds, memory, and music as the father attempts to come to terms with the life choices made by his estranged son.

The film was directed, produced, and written by Suresh Krissna, following his previous work, Anantha. This project marks the 13th film in the director's career. The movie features Y. G. Mahendran in the title role of Charukesi. Produced by Arun Visualz Productions and Madras Cine Production, the Indian production has a runtime of 129 minutes and was released on June 12, 2026.
