We Believe

We Believe explores the connection between two different eras of the St. Mary's high school football program. It recounts the 1963 season led by coach Bill Hanlin, whose team remained undefeated and did not allow a single point. This historical account is paired with the contemporary experience of Jodi Mote, who has spent more than twenty years coaching the Blue Devils. Through these two perspectives, the film examines the roles of football, family, and faith in their lives.

Directed by Jason Campbell, this was the first of five films he directed between 2024 and 2026. The screenplay was written by Campbell alongside Jodi Mote and Mandy Mote. The cast includes Kathy A. Bates as Heather, Dean Cain as an announcer, and Addison Dattilo as Lucas. Other roles are played by Christian Dattilo, Julie Wallace Deklavon, and Eddie McClintock. This American drama, produced by JCFilms, has a runtime of 78 minutes.
