Dead Tone

Students at the University of Dreyskill create a game called 75 to avoid studying for their final exams. The activity involves making phone calls to strangers and attempting to keep them on the line for at least seventy-five seconds using various stories or scares. The prank takes a violent turn when the group contacts a psychopath who tracks them down to carry out a series of murders with an axe.

Directed by Deon Taylor, this horror thriller was the first in a series of 12 films he directed, followed by The Hustle in 2008.
