Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase

Scooby-Doo and the gang find themselves pulled into a video game built around their own past mysteries, and the only way out is to work through it stage by stage. A character known as the Phantom Virus is loose inside the game, and catching it means the group has to travel through settings that jump from prehistoric times to a space-age future, facing virtual versions of villains from their earlier cases along the way.

The film is a Hanna-Barbera and Warner Bros. Family Entertainment production directed by Jim Stenstrum, who had previously directed Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, Scooby-Doo! and the Witch's Ghost and Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders. It is the fourth Scooby-Doo animated film he directed, following those three. Mark Turosz wrote the screenplay and Davis Doi produced. The voice cast includes Scott Innes as Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, Grey DeLisle as Daphne, B.J. Ward as Velma, Frank Welker as Fred, Gary Anthony Sturgis as the Phantom Virus and Joe Alaskey as Wembley. Running just over an hour, it is a short adventure comedy aimed at a family audience.

Audience response has been consistently positive. On IMDb it holds a rating of 7.1 from around 11,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 7.3 from a few hundred votes. The two scores are close, indicating that viewers who have sought the film out tend to regard it favorably.
