Good Night

Set in Moscow in 1937, this drama follows a thirteen-year-old boy named Nikita. His life is disrupted when NKVD officers arrive at his home to arrest his father. In the ensuing chaos, Nikita is tasked by his parents with destroying incriminating paperwork. While attempting to dispose of the files, he encounters a commissar, forcing the boy to decide whether to surrender the documents or resist.

The film was written and directed by Polina Kondratyeva. Produced in Russia, the short movie has a runtime of 14 minutes. It was released on May 4, 2022.
