Mauro is a surfer whose life changes after an accident leads to a period of extended rehabilitation. While staying at a clinic, he forms an unexpected bond with Federico, a young athlete who uses a wheelchair due to ataxia. Driven by this friendship, Mauro decides to flee his daily routine, and the two embark on an unconventional journey together. This trip serves as a path toward rediscovering their identities and finding a sense of freedom.

The Italian comedy-drama was directed by Saverio Smeriglio, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Caterina Silva and Nicola Nocella. The film features Andrea Montovoli in the role of Mauro and Federico Richard Villa as Federico. The supporting cast includes Ivana Lotito, Isabel Russinova, Nicola Nocella, and Simone Tisi.
