Short description

Venezia Diorama is an animated documentary that examines the slow decay of Venice. Using a collection of animated art boards and archival footage alongside modern observations, the film presents the city as a fragile place suspended in time. The narrative is centered on the 1902 collapse of St Mark's Campanile to reflect on the erosion of the urban environment.

The film was written and directed by Nicolas Piret, following his 2024 work Silent Panorama. Produced by David Grançon and the Belgian company Take Five, the project has a runtime of seven minutes.
