A deep space research team discovers the Green Planet, a derelict vessel that has warped into their sector. The only survivor is the ship's commander, Buzz, who is too incapacitated to warn the researchers about the danger on board. The crew soon finds themselves targeted by a malevolent alien entity that manipulates human emotions and memories to destroy its victims. While most of the group is haunted by past sins, a psychic woman named Moira remains pure, and her faith provides a chance for her and Buzz to survive the encounter.
