Monster High: Escape from Skull Shores

During spring break, Lagoona and her friends travel toward the Great Barrier Reef, but their trip is interrupted when their boat sinks. The group washes up on a mysterious, skull-shaped island where they are greeted by a showman named Farnum. While the students initially enjoy the local hospitality, they eventually discover that Farnum is using them as bait to capture a legendary and rare creature known as the Beast.

This 2012 American animated fantasy film was directed by Steve Ball, marking the first of three films he directed, followed by Monster High: Scaris City of Frights and Rocket Club: Across the Cosmos. The screenplay was written by Mike Montesano and Ted Zizik. The voice cast features Kate Higgins as Frankie Stein, Laura Bailey as Lagoona Blue and Headless Headmistress Bloodgood, and Salli Saffioti as Clawdeen Wolf and Cleo de Nile. Debi Derryberry voices Draculaura, while Evan Smith provides the voices for several characters including Deuce Gorgon and Gil Webber. Keith Silverstein voices Bartleby Farnum.
