Omega Doom

In a future Earth devastated by nuclear war, humans have been driven into hiding and the planet is left to robots. Rumours of a human resurgence circulate among the machines, along with the search for a hidden weapons cache that could decide who controls what remains. A robot named Omega Doom, whose circuits have been altered, arrives in a small town where two robot factions are locked in their own conflict.

Omega Doom was directed by Albert Pyun, released in 1996 and running 84 minutes. It is a science fiction film from the United States, made by LARGO Entertainment and Filmwerks, from a screenplay by Ed Naha and produced by Tom Karnowski and Gary Schmoeller. Rutger Hauer leads as Omega Doom, with Shannon Whirry, Norbert Weisser, Tina Cote, Anna Katarina and Jill Pierce among the cast. Within this list of Albert Pyun's films, it is the ninth, arriving between the 1994 Kickboxer 4: The Aggressor and the 1997 Mean Guns.
